EWM’s Audrey Ross Brokers Sale of Highest-Priced
Residential Condominium in Coral Gables History
$9 million sale at The Gables Club sets new price standard
for City Beautiful
Audrey Ross, Senior Vice President of Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell
(EWM) Realtors, has brokered the sale of the highest-priced
residential condominium ever in the City of Coral Gables.
The $9 million sale of the 10,190 square foot, waterfront Tower
Suite ‘A’ at The Gables Club, located at 60 Edgewater
Drive, Coral Gables, makes this the single highest-price sale for a
condominium residence within the City Beautiful. The sale was
conducted in cooperation with Realtor Cassy Everhart of Russell
Post Properties, Ocean Reef, who brought the buyer. Buyer and
seller were not disclosed.
Ross has been a consistent leader in the South Florida high-end
market, and was recently recognized as one of the top 12 Realtors
in America. She is also responsible for the sale of the
highest-priced single-family residence ever sold in Coral Gables,
with the $26.8 million sale of 1 Arvida Parkway, in Gables Estates
in 2004.
The $9 million transaction at The Gables Club is the fifth sale
in the last 90 days where a residential condominium in Miami-Dade
County has sold for more than $8.7 million. Three of the
sales have been oceanfront (two in Miami Beach and one in Bal
Harbour); one on Brickell Avenue and now in Coral Gables,
reflecting interest in several high-end markets within Miami-Dade
County, a positive overall sign for the industry.
The two-story residence boasts contemporary style interior
architecture with touches of exotic marbles (such as kitchen
countertops made from semi precious Tigers Eye), keystone and
Venetian plaster. Amenities include a roof-top Jacuzzi,
chef’s kitchen, wine cellar, a library, and access to a
deep-water marina.

exquisite unit positions the Coral Gables waterfront market at-par
with other key markets within the County.”
