ALYCE WRIGHT NAMED 2016 REALTOR OF THE YEAR FOR OUTSTANDING INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE

Alyce Wright, Sales Associate at Lila Delman Real Estate, International has been named the 2016 Realtor of the year by the Newport County Board of Realtors.

The announcement was made during the Newport County Board of Realtors’ (NCBR) June Membership meeting, held at The Green Valley Club in Middletown.

Alyce has served as NCBR Treasurer since November of 2014, as well as a Director and member of the Executive Committee. She is currently a Director for the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and a member of the Women's Council of Realtors.

Alyce is an Alumnus of Harvard College with a degree in Economics and 10 years of experience working at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. When she moved to RI in 2008, she brought with her a strong financial background and strong negotiating skills, to the benefit of both her clients and her community.

She also volunteers as a Board member for the Harvard Club of Rhode Island, interviewing prospective Harvard students and chairing the Harvard Prize Book Award. She annually serves as a Volunteer Teacher for Junior Achievement, teaching the students about entrepreneurship and financial literacy through a hands-on program of fun activities.

Alyce is a regular participant in NCBR's Rebuilding Together. As past Co-Chair on Membership Meetings, Alyce has always been a strong advocate for realtors' professional education, both in the Newport County Board and in her own office.

“Winning REALTOR of The Year is a true honor,” stated Alyce Wright. “Knowing who has received the award in past years, there is tremendous meaning for me, and I look forward to continuing to serve my clients, fellow realtors and my community with passion and professionalism.”
