For nearly two decades Chase International has been highlighting some of Lake Tahoe’s most breathtaking homes on its annual Lakefront Estates Tour, an event that brings prestigious real estate professionals from across the West for a rare glimpse into unparalleled luxury and beauty. This year’s invitation-only event, set for Wednesday, June 24, will feature some very familiar homes, an estate designed by Julia Morgan, and test drives with Tesla.

The 19th annual event will showcase 20 homes from all areas around Lake Tahoe, ranging in price from $2.5 to $27.5 million. Some of the homes may be familiar to moviegoers, as the estates featured in The Bodyguard and City of Angels (on Fallen Leaf Lake) and the Godfather Part II (on the West Shore), will be included. A South Shore home designed by renowned architect Julia Morgan will also serve as a Tesla test-drive location. Tesla broke ground on a new gigafactory last year in nearby Sparks and is scheduled to begin production by 2017. The recent boom in technology and industry has directly impacted the regional real estate market.
