A bay front estate on Longboat Key sold recently for $3.2 million.
The property—located at 5030 Gulf of Mexico Drive—was listed by Richard Perlman, an agent with the Longboat Key South office of Michael Saunders & Company. It was sold by Kary Andrews, of Bayshore Real Estate.
“Bayside Villa,” as the property is known, is entered through an iron gate then approached by a circular drive that winds through lush gardens. Inside, the grand foyer leads to the main living areas which overlook the bay through walls of French doors; and lead to the expansive outdoor patio, pool area and outdoor kitchen.
In addition to the master suite, there are two “en suite” bedrooms in the main residence and two more in a separate guest house. Custom garages beneath both residences provide ample room for storage as well as for 14 automobiles. A private boat dock and deeded beach access complete the estate, which is just a short distance from Longboat Key’s main shopping and dining district.
