Brit Golfer Lee Westwood Sells Palm Beach Gardens estateHouse

Former top world golfer British born Lee Westwood has just sold his Palm Beach Gardens estate.

Westwood, 43, the 2016 Masters runner-up who dethroned Tiger Woods‘ as No. 1 golfer in the world in late 2010, has just sold his 10,000-square-foot mansion in the Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens.

The house was originally listed earlier this year for $8 million and was reputed to have sold for $6.38m.

The six-bedroom home, set on one-acre at 12235 Tillinghast Circle on Old Palm’s 14th fairway was completed by a buyer from Texas.

Rob Thomson of Waterfront Properties and Club Communities, the buyer’s agent, said the property is “the ultimate golf club property.”

“It’s an absolutely beautiful house,” Thomson said. “And it has awesome views on the Old Palm golf course, which is one of the best in the area. The buyers have had several houses in this area and knew what they were looking for.”
