Five Chase International Realtors, some military veterans themselves, have earned the Military and Veterans Housing Certification to help service members find and afford housing throughout the region.
 
Chase agents Riley Smith and Cary DeMars (both veterans themselves), along with Rhoda Thalman, Yolanda Young and Patti Lopez were certified recently, receiving in-depth training regarding how to navigate the various federal programs available to veterans and active military, including down payment and loan programs.
 
“We’re excited to be able to better serve our military and veterans, many of whom are unaware that these loans are available to them,” Lopez said. “They tend to fall through the cracks, so we completed this certification program to help veterans to get into their first home.”
 
Along with active military and veterans, military widows are also eligible for housing assistance.
 
The certification was granted by the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals.
