Elder Named Chase’s 2015 Tahoe/Truckee Realtor of the Year

Chase International recently recognized Alison Elder as the 2015 Agent of the Year for the Lake Tahoe area. This is the fifth consecutive year Elder has received the honor.

Throughout 2015 Elder was responsible for $57,871,513 in total sales volume.  She was involved in listing 60 units for a total amount of $31,862,007 and on the selling side, she represented buyers of 58 units for a total of $26,009,506.  In all, Elder worked on one side or the other of an impressive 118 transactions during 2015.

Elder represented ten percent of the total market share in Tahoe Donner selling $34,290,503 in 2015 and over $130,000,000 in Tahoe Donner sales volume since 2009.

With an office located just down street from Tahoe Forest Hospital on Donner Pass Road, the majority of her sales were in the Truckee area. In addition to her sales in Tahoe Donner, Elder focuses her energy listing and selling parcels and luxury homes in Gray’s Crossing, Old Greenwood, Lahontan, Northstar, Martis Valley and Donner Lake.

She devotes much of her time to giving back. Elder chairs Girls Giving Back—the junior arm of Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation’s Queen of Hearts which teaches young women the art of philanthropy. She is also a member of the Queen of Hearts Leadership Committee. Elder chairs the Sugar Bowl Academy Parents Association (her two children are both student athletes at Sugar Bowl Academy). Additionally, Elder is part of the Best of Tahoe Chefs committee to support the Tahoe Forest Hospital District’s cancer patient programs and serves as a member of the Cancer Advisory Council as well. Elder is an avid supporter of Girls on the Run and the High Fives Foundation. She is also a long time member of the Tahoe-Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation board.
