Sale Is Largest In The Bayfront Neighborhood In Over Two Years

A bayside estate in the Harbor Acres neighborhood near downtown Sarasota sold recently for $5 million.  It was listed for $5.45 million.

The estate, located at 1240 Hillview Drive, includes four bedrooms, a two-story wood paneled library, three-stop elevator, formal dining room and extensive millwork throughout its nearly 4,900 square feet of interior space.    

Just minutes from Southside Village as well as Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and downtown Sarasota, the property was listed by Kim and Michael Ogilvie, of the Main Street office of Michael Saunders; and sold to buyers represented by Jonathan Abrams and Brian Loebker, of the firm’s Siesta Key office.

The property was the highest priced sale in the Harbor Acres neighborhood since Kim and Michael Ogilvie sold their listing at 1452 Hillview Drive for $7 million in March of 2013; and only the third home in Sarasota County to sell for $5 million or more in 2015.
