Harry Norman’s 2019 Rookie of the Year, Tori Hughes, Transitions from Agent to Corporate

With almost three years of experience as one of Harry Norman, REALTORS® top agents, Tori Hughes has accepted the position of Professional Development Manager for the company. In her new role, Hughes will be responsible for developing, administering, organizing, and conducting agent training programs for the company’s 850+ agents.
WHO: Hughes joined Harry Norman, REALTORS’® East Cobb office in 2018 as a first-time agent. Within her first year, she received the Rookie of the Year award and was named one of the company’s Top 30 Agents of 2019. Both wins are a result of the vast network of connections she has built—between 70-80% of her 2020 transactions came directly from her sphere. A strong believer in the company’s mission, Hughes credits her success to the team’s leadership and values.
WHAT: In her new position, Hughes will be managing the new agent onboarding process, including: overseeing new agent orientation and training of new agents, writing new training manuals, supporting the integration of new and experienced hires, participating in new agent recruitment efforts, and implementing a companywide mentor program. When she first started at the company, the training shifted her mindset on the importance of a network and gave her the tools to lean on relationships for new deals. Her sphere and the tools the company provides are two of critical parts of her business—along with a cell phone, calendar, and social media.
WHERE: For over 90 years Harry Norman, REALTORS® has prided themselves on exceptional service, luxury offerings and the best agents in the city. In her new role, Hughes will introduce new agents to the company to further Harry Norman, REALTORS® success. “The training and support I received positioned me for my achievements,” she says.
