Hilton & Hyland Associate Named to Board of The British American Business Council

Mayfair International Realty member firm of Hilton & Hyland is pleased to announce the appointment of their colleague, Jonathan Nash, to a seat on the board of directors of the Los Angeles branch of the British American Business Council (BABC).

Mr. Nash joins a board comprised of leaders representing business segments that include law, finance, transportation, hospitality, and entertainment to help plot the course of the transatlantic business alliance comprised of 2000 member companies and thousands of individual members. Member companies not only include global multinationals, but hundreds of SMEs as well as individuals.

Formed in 1991, the business network has 21 chapters across North America and the United Kingdom, and works tirelessly to promote business development, networking opportunities, and alliances between companies on both sides of the Atlantic.

Nash was born in London and has fourteen years in the business of luxury property sales and development. Originally an associate with Warner Music, Nash realized his true passion and calling was real estate, and he worked for prestigious property marketing firms prior to starting his own property auction concern and a property development company, working with a growing network of international buyers and investors. Nash relocated to Los Angeles two years ago and joined the Hilton & Hyland team whilst staying active in development projects in both Los Angeles and London.

Upon receiving news of his appointment to the board of the BABC, Mr. Nash expressed his enthusiasm for joining such a prestigious organization and what the post will mean for his Hilton & Hyland colleagues: “Recently, the firm has launched an all out initiative to increase its share of international business, forging relationships with buyers and sellers worldwide, as well as investigating development projects. Being able to interact with fellow members and companies affiliated with the BABC is going to enable me to dramatically increase global contacts for the firm's property business.”
