Local Web Site Judged Best In Real Estate Industry
MichaelSaunders.com Tops All Others Says A Panel Of Leading Technology And Marketing Executives Associated With The Industry.
MichaelSaunders.com, the web site for Michael Saunders & Company, has been declared “best overall” in the real estate industry by a panel of top technology and marketing executives associated with the industry.
The company’s mobile web site was also named best in the industry; while the company was ranked among the top twenty-five for Best Design, Best Property Detail, Best Video Strategy, Best Lead (Conversion) Strategy and Best Map Search.
Notification of the wins came this week from Real Trends—a leading source for news, information and analysis pertaining to the residential real estate industry nationwide.
“This is news of tremendous significance for the company and our agents,” says founder and CEO, Michael Saunders, from her office in downtown Sarasota. “Drayton and I never doubted that the time, talent, and investment involved in launching a totally new web site last fall was worth every penny,” she added. “We have known for quite some time that virtually every buyer now uses the web to browse for properties; and that every seller wants to be doubly sure that their property will enjoy maximum exposure by the company they ultimately choose to list with.”
To arrive at its findings, REAL Trends analyzed nearly 750 real estate websites using a combination of collection strategies that included the top 500 real estate companies—as ranked annually in the REAL Trends 500—as well as online submissions from top technology vendors and design firms, along with their clients.
Five technology experts narrowed the 750 entries to the top 25; after which 70 judging panelists made up of real estate chief technology and marketing officers from across the United States voted on the best websites in each of eight categories. Votes were aggregated for two weeks until August 12, 2015.
“We have been updating or completely rebuilding MichaelSaunders.com frequently since the early days of the internet when web sites were more novelty than necessity,” says company president Drayton Saunders. “But today, a real estate company’s web site is one of the most essential tools it has for marketing its sellers’ properties to buyers in all 50 states and countries around the world. Personally, I would never choose a real estate company to sell my home without first assessing the strength of its web presence.”
