Roseann Rogers who's known to Houstonians as "The Buzz Lady" for her many years on television, has joined Mayfair International Realty members, John Daugherty Realtors, as the Director of PR and Business Development.

Over the course of her career, Roseann has tackled the business, marketing and public relations side of her industry both at KPRC-TV Local 2 and KTBU-TV Channel 55. Roseann's extensive media experience provides a unique insight into the city of Houston and its residents.

Before joining John Daugherty, Realtors, Roseann was the marketing and PR director for Finger Furniture, a family owned and operated local furniture store.

In 2012, Roseann pursued a personal passion of hers and received her real estate license in the state of Texas and signed with John Daugherty as a referral agent.

Raised around the world, including Germany, Kentucky and Oklahoma, Roseann developed a personality that makes her everybody's friend. That trait, along with her genuine nature, made her a first-rate reporter and then a public relations director.

Roseann is an accomplished freelance fashion and society writer and has contributed to several local publications, including Intown Magazine, Bay Area Magazines and Prime Living.

Roseann believes in giving back to the community and that has provided her a wealth of opportunities. That's one reason she loves working at John Daugherty, Realtors- because of the company's longstanding commitment to improving the lives of Houstonians, through its business model and corporate giving.

She is a founding board member of Dress for Success Houston, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston and serves on its Community Advisory Board. Roseann is also a member of the American Heart Association Guild, The Houston Ballet Guild and received a Cancer Counseling Award for Media Excellence. She has chaired many fundraising galas for the Heath Museum, AIDS Foundation Houston, The Children's Museum of Houston, Catholic Charities and the Heart Center at Texas Children's Hospital.

In her spare time, Roseann enjoys readying, traveling, going to the movies and spending time with her family. Roseann is married to Dr. Aashish Shah and together they have a seven-year-old son named Nikhil.
