Riskin Partners Announces its Commitment to the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Riskin Partners, Santa Barbara’s leading residential real estate team and longtime champions for women leading full and healthy lives, announces today that they will donate a percentage of their commission from the sale of the Brookside estate to support the fight against breast cancer. Proceeds will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

“For us, its personal,” says Dina Landi, Managing Partner of Riskin Partners. “We are inspired by the strength and grace of longtime client Hollye Jacobs.” Jacobs is a breast cancer survivor and New York Times Best-Selling Author of The Silver Lining: A Supportive and Insightful Guide to Breast Cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 in 8 (12%) women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime. “The statistics are just too real to not make a commitment to cancer research, treatment, and education.”

Riskin Partners has listed Hollye and Jeff Jacobs Montecito property, Brookside. The enchanting east coast country estate is in one of the west coast’s most enviable locations, just steps to the San Ysidro Ranch. Defined by exquisite details and romantic charm, the exceptional compound offers a 5-bedroom 7.5-bathroom main house, 2-bedroom guest house, pool cabana, and cottage. Magical woodlands, lush gardens, a stunning pool terrace, putting green, and mountain views create the ultimate Montecito lifestyle.

According to BreastCancer.org about 40,450 women in the U.S. are expected to die in 2016 from breast cancer, though death rates have been decreasing since 1989. Women under 50 have experienced larger decreases. These decreases are thought to be the result of treatment advances, earlier detection through screening, and increased awareness. Together the Riskin Partners team stands united to make a difference and bring awareness to a disease that doesn’t discriminate.
