SIESTA KEY PROPERTY SELLS FOR $6.250 MILLION

SALE IS AMONG SARASOTA COUNTY’S LARGEST TO DATE IN 2015

A beachfront estate in Siesta Key’s Sanderling Club sold recently for $6.25 Million. In doing so, it became one of Southwest Florida’s highest priced sales to date in 2015.

The property, located at 8306 Sanderling Road, was listed for $7.45 Million by Stephanie Church, an agent with the St. Armands office of Michael Saunders & Company; and sold by Linda Weber of Coldwell Banker.

The Sanderling sale transpired only a day after Ms. Church brought the buyer to the sale of Residence #1101 at The Beach Residences at the Ritz-Carlton, located at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive, on Lido Key. That transaction, which closed at $953 per square foot—the highest since 2005—also represented the highest year-to-date sale of a condominium in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties. It closed for $4 million after having been listed for $4.395 by Cheryl Loeffler of Premier Sotheby’s.

In all, Ms. Church closed on $10.25 million in sales volume over the two-day period.
