Tampa’s First Luxury Tower to Offer One Residence Per Floor

Taub Entities proudly revealed the architectural plans for The Sanctuary at Alexandra Place, a distinctive luxury tower that will become the most exclusive building in all of Tampa Bay.

The Sanctuary is architecturally striking, with an elegantly curved tower design that will provide stunning views from every room in the home.

Designed by local architect, Tim Clemmons, of Place Architecture, The Sanctuary will rise 17 stories and will have only 15 residences, with each level of the tower boasting a single-family floor plan as well as a two-story Penthouse suite. Homeowners at The Sanctuary will own the entire floor with no shared walls or hallways giving them the utmost privacy and security that a luxury tower has to offer.

The Sanctuary, located on Bayshore Boulevard and adjacent to Fred Ball Park, is an estimated $40 million tower with residences from $2.3 million to more than $4.8 million.

“We are thrilled to bring a whole new level of luxury condominiums to Tampa. This type of building has been done in New York City and Miami, but nothing comes close to it in this market,” said developer Debbie Taub of Taub Entities. “From the onset, we envisioned a luxury condominium for a homeowner who wants the privacy of a single-family home and all of the conveniences and amenities that a luxury tower has to offer.”

Clemmons’ team worked with Taub Entities, previously when they designed Bliss, located on Beach Drive in downtown St. Petersburg. “The Sanctuary’s design replicates the beautiful sweeping curve of Bayshore Boulevard. Every residence will have magnificent 360-degree views,” Clemmons added.

Developers, Brian and Debbie Taub, wanted Place Architecture’s team to create a building that embraced the natural surroundings of the site. Homeowners will have the pleasure of being engulfed by majestic sun rises over Bayshore Boulevard and can find serenity looking over tree-canopied Fred Ball Park. Arriving via Bayshore Boulevard, residents and guests will encounter a beautifully designed glass and metal porte cochére leading to a grand front entrance that is flanked by two striking stone water features. Vehicles will enter the parking garage through beautiful wood faced doors.

The Sanctuary will be the first luxury tower in the United States to use a frameless glass wall system. The Taub’s feel that Tampa’s luxury real estate market is ready to embrace a superior standard of top-tier finishes.

“We aren’t raising the bar; we are the bar. No other tower in Tampa Bay will have the finishes we offer as standards. The Sanctuary will be the first building on Bayshore where every floor is a single-family residence.  Every homeowner will have the luxury of owning the entire floor along with gorgeous 360-degree views and 80’ of waterfront overlooking Tampa’s crown jewel, Bayshore Boulevard,” added Brian Taub.

The Sanctuary will feature a second-floor amenity deck aptly named, “The Retreat,” because it’s nestled next to Fred Ball Park’s lush tree canopy giving residents an intimate and private space to relax. The Retreat is unique because of its exclusive location next to the park. The sweeping arch of the tower is incorporated throughout the design. The Retreat will offer a curved designer pool with lounging shelf, spa, private natural wood cabanas, outdoor kitchen, sunken fire-pit, lushly landscaped gardens adorned with wooden benches and stone planters, and a first-rate work out facility featuring Pelaton equipment.

Among other features of The Sanctuary:

* Private and secured elevator lobby for each residence

* 48’ of continuous, unobstructed walls of glass facing Bayshore Boulevard

* Windows on all four sides of the residence

* Two tiled terraces, each with glass railings for unobstructed views

Activity has already started on the tower’s site. The existing home on the property has been vacated and will be demolished soon, making way for The Sanctuary’s rise at 2619 Bayshore Boulevard Tampa, FL 33629.

Creating a tower like this is a game changer for the luxury market in Tampa. The discerning buyer will fall in love with the sensation of living in a private elevated home above Bayshore as well as the state-of-the-art finishes and architecture,” said Bob Glaser, President, and CEO of Smith & Associates Real Estate.

The Sanctuary recently began taking contact information from potential condominium buyers at sanctuarybayshore.com. Smith & Associates Real Estate is the exclusive listing agent.
