Dale Sorensen Real Estate is pleased to announce that Carolyn Plante and Jim Belanger of the Live Now Team were recently named Chamber Member of the Year, 2018 by the Sebastian Chamber of Commerce. Belanger and Plante were on hand to receive the award.

“Jim and Carolyn have been very active Chamber members and have volunteered for Concerts in the Park for the last four years,” explained Beth Mitchell, Sebastian Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. “Jim has been a steadfast chamber member, serving on the Board for one year and volunteering at the Golf Tournament. They are both actively involved with the Rotary Club of Sebastian and supported the Annual ShrimpFest with their time and sponsorship. They are also affiliated with the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. For all of these reasons and more we are pleased to name them Chamber Member of the Year, 2018.” Belanger also received the Sebastian Rotary Club’s “Rotarian of the Year” award in June.

“We are honored to receive such a wonderful award,” said Belanger. “It’s nice to see acknowledgment of the work you do in the community, but, that’s honestly not why we do it. We love this community and the Chamber of Commerce. It’s not hard to give back to those that have given you so much.”

Plante agreed with Belanger. “Our team is passionate about what we do and the communities we serve,” she said. “It’s the commitment to serving others that shows up in everything this team does. I’m really proud to be a part of it.”
