The Luxe Team at Dale Sorensen Real Estate Brevard Organizes Indialantic Beach Clean-Up

Sales Associates, staff and family members of Dale Sorensen Real Estate Brevard (DSRE Brevard) showed the James Nance Park at Indialantic Beach some love by organizing a beach clean-up and came away with several buckets of potentially harmful trash.

On Sunday, July 31, organizers Anthony Romero and Stacy Thome, alongside other volunteers, collected more than half a dozen buckets worth of trash including plastic bottles, cans, paper goods, juice boxes, plastic zip ties, signs and more in just 2 hours.

“This was a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to our community while consciously helping to environmentally protect the area,” Anthony Romero said. “We worked in conjunction with the folks who hosted a concert the night before to bring the area back to the way it was before the event. We’re excited to continue doing this several times a year and have been approached by several other businesses that would like to join us in our endeavors to protect our environment.” Romero provided a snow cone truck at the clean-up for the volunteers and opened it up to the public visiting the park and beach.

Thome was excited to have kids involved at the event. “It’s important that our children know how much we care about our environment and that we are willing to commit to taking care of it. I think this is a good opportunity for them to learn about volunteering, our environment and doing something for a good cause.”

“Dale Sorensen Real Estate supports our associates and staff in all their volunteer efforts throughout the communities we serve,” said Gary Scenti, Managing Broker for DSRE Brevard. “This particular type of community service is near and dear to our hearts as most of us love the beach and our waterways. We commend this team for organizing such a worthwhile event.”
