This piece of Tampa history will bring you Joy!

In the late 1960’s developers Joe Byars and George Thompson laid out plans to create Culbreath Isles in Tampa Bay. Tampa itself was just beginning its metamorphosis from a sleepy Southern town to the successful and highly regarded city you see today.

Byars and Thompson envisioned an exclusive, waterfront community of luxury homes and that's just what they created. Today the area is one of the most sought after in the state with a wide range of French, Georgian British, Colonial and Mediterranean inspired homes, many with large, deep water canals with direct access to Tampa Bay.

One such home is Southern Plantation inspired 4930 New Providence Avenue which was Byars own home.
