Virginia Cook, Realtors Welcomes Industry Leader Denaige Pizzutello as Senior Vice President of Professional Development

Industry leader Denaige Pizzutello has joined Virginia Cook, Realtors® as Senior Vice President of Professional Development, the independent and locally-owned company announced.

Denaige brings over 30 years of real estate experience that includes serving as MLS Director for the MetroTex Association of Realtors®; Vice President/Manager of an East Coast residential brokerage; and Assistant VP/Regional Real Estate Instructor for a respected title company.

Denaige has also held many volunteer positions with the MetroTex and Collin County Association of Realtors®, and was named MetroTex Affiliate of the Year in 2008.

"We are thrilled to welcome Denaige to our business family," said Executive Vice President Sheila Rice.  "Her experience is a tremendous asset as we enhance our Professional Development program to meet the educational needs of every sales associate, from the newcomer to the tenured Top Producer.”

“But, what truly resounds with us is Denaige’s Servant Heart and drive to help others reach their potential,” adds Sheila.

That servant’s heart earned Denaige a Congressional Appointment to U.S. Military Academy at West Point at the age of 20. She went on to serve her country for six years as a Counterintelligence Special Agent with the U.S. Army and was a two-time recipient of the Army Commendation, Army Achievement and Army Good Conduct Medals.

It was during Denaige’s military service that an interest in real estate was sparked.

“I wanted to buy my first house, but couldn’t afford it on a soldier’s salary,” said Denaige. Not to be deterred, she obtained permission from her commander to take a weekend civilian job as a receptionist at a local real estate firm. She worked her way up to Vice President of the company after completing her military service.

A move in 1995 to Texas with husband, Michael Pizzutello, led Denaige to the MetroTex Association of Realtors®, where Sheila was the current president and Virginia was the first female president.

As MLS Director, Denaige was responsible for MLS computer services, training and technical support for over 8,000 members.

Her talent and knowledge were evident, and after 10 years, she accepted the privilege to work as a real estate trainer for the likes of Republic Title.

“I feel like I have come full circle. I am ‘coming home’ to Sheila and Virginia,” says Denaige.  “The last 30 years prepared me for my new role, and I am thankful to be working for two of the classiest, smartest women in real estate.”

“With the team of talented Realtors® and knowledgeable professional staff we have, the strong economy, and the constant influx of people and businesses moving to our incredible state…we believe the sky’s the limit in 2016 and beyond,” said Sheila.

Welcome Denaige at 214-770-2324 or dpizzutello@virginiacook.com. Reach Sheila at 214-750-7373, srice@virginiacook.com.
