The REAL Trends 500, an annual research report ranking the performance of residential real estate firms in the United States, has recognized Washington Fine Properties as a leader among firms in 2012. Only the top 500 firms are recognized in the report, out of over 20,000 firms in the nation, based on closed transaction sides and separately by closed sales volume.
For 2012, Washington Fine Properties has been ranked the #1 residential real estate firm in the nation for highest closed sales volume per sales associate, at $12.5 million per agent. WFP also ranked #1 for highest average sales price per sale, at $1.2 million. This is the fourth consecutive year in which WFP has earned the #1 ranking from REAL Trends in these two categories.

Washington Fine Properties continues to lead the Capital Region, as it has sold 65 percent more properties over $1 million in Washington, DC than its next closest competitor. In 2012, WFP participated in more than 50 percent of sales over $5 million in the Capital Region while also increasing its sales under $1 million by 30 percent since 2011. The firm had ten agents ranked in the Top 250 Agents in America by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, five of which ranked in the Top 50.
