SANDERLING ESTATE IS LARGEST YEAR-TO-DATE SALE IN 2015

A beachfront estate in the exclusive Sanderling Club neighborhood of Siesta Key sold today for $5.55 million, becoming Sarasota County’s highest year-to-date sale thus far in 2015.

The property—located at 7902 Sanderling Road—was listed by Marcia Salkin, of the Longboat Key South office of Michael Saunders & Company; and by Stacy Hanan of the firm’s Main Street office. Joel Schemmel, of Premier Sotheby’s, represented the buyer.

Built in 1987, the 8,395 square-foot home sits on just under two acres and includes over 150 feet of prime Gulf of Mexico beach frontage. It includes a dramatic two-story living room, waterfront master suite with its own fireplace and balcony, a handsome study with carved mahogany fireplace; and a resort style pool and spa.
