When you talk about walking the talk... You're talking about our Virginia Cook, Realtors Sherman Team

The Sherman Virginia Cook team won First Place in the GTAR Trepac Bowling Tournament held at Choctaw Bowling Center.  This is the second year in a row to nab first place! Congratulations to the team from left: Mark Tooley, agent; Tommy Gibbs, agent; Carl Wyman, Caliber Mortgage; and Debra Wyman, Carl's wife.

As the #1 brokerage serving Grayson County, these top performing professionals take their commitment to clients, community and industry to heart as they combine their passion for real estate with their love for the place they also call home.

"From serving on a community board to volunteering in our schools, churches, non-profits and chambers, our agents are deeply involved," says Mark Tooley, who has been a Virginia Cook, Realtors® Top Producer for 11 years and Sherman resident for 24 years.

"We all believe that it's extremely important to give back," he said. "I always encourage our new agents to find something they're passionate about and jump in! If you're excited about it, then you will make time to do it well."

It's a long list of organizations benefitting from this service, both behind the scenes as astute leaders and front and center at community events, like the Sherman and Denison annual Christmas parades.

In fact, this year's Christmas float entry was a huge hit as the team included their fur-babies to demonstrate their desire to find a home that’s “PAW-fect” home for everyone in the family.

The Virginia Cook Sherman team also has a long legacy of upholding the highest standards of professionalism through their involvement at the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors®.

Many are currently serving on the board or committees; numerous are chairs, vice chairs and past presidents. And all rally around projects like Lake Texoma Clean-Up days and being the consumer's voice through the Texas Realtors® Political Action Committee, which holds fund raisers like the Bowling Tournament, which the Sherman team just took first place in, for the second year in a row!

Hospital and college boards, United Way campaigns, Rotary and Lions clubs, new teacher luncheons, Sunday school class teachers and Toastmasters. You name it, and you can bet a Virginia Cook agent is involved.

"We like to say that before Virginia Cook, Realtors® puts a sign in a yard, we've put our hearts into the community," said Mark.
