Zephyr Real Estate-Marin Agents Host 2nd Women Building Wealth in Real Estate Workshop

M. J. Koontz and Sandra Luna, investment real estate agents at Zephyr Real Estate in Marin, are hosting the second monthly Women Building Wealth Via Real Estate workshop on Wednesday, March 27, at 6 pm. The workshop will be held at the Zephyr offices, 350 Bon Air Center, #100, Greenbrae.

Following on the heels of the great success of the first endeavor last month, which was themed upon the African proverb: Go alone and you go fast, go together and you go far, the duo has prepared the second in this fresh new approach to women helping women in an environment of cooperation and trust.

Koontz and Luna have assembled a trio of women who are experts in building wealth via 1031 exchanges and rental income, an investment strategy used by many investors. Networking will begin at 6 pm, followed by the program at 6:45 pm, then a brief Q&A, concluding with a time to mingle and enjoy refreshments.

Speakers for this second event are Fif Ghobadian, Executive Loan Advisor at RPM Lenders. She has spent the majority of her years as a mortgage consultant and has been a top producer consistently since 2004. Shanaé Mabrie, Vice President and Regional Sales Executive for Old Republic Exchange, brings over 10 years’ experience in the industry, and has focused solely on exchanges since 2012. Koontz, herself an experienced 1031 investor, rounds out the trio.

“Our purpose is to create a collaborative group of people to share information, carry out transactions, and work to help each other achieve financial and personal wealth,” commented Koontz. “It’s important to note that we showcase women speakers, but the workshops are open to all who wish to engage in a spirit of trust and coalition rather than competition.”

After approaching multiple investment property salespeople and being denied financials, Koontz got frustrated with being shut out of the market. As someone who looks for opportunities where others fail to see them, she decided to create a network of her own. Sandra Luna, a colleague, was so captivated with the initial workshop, she immediately joined forces with Koontz.

To register for the workshop, please call Koontz at 415.412.8604 or Luna at 415.279.8610, leaving your name and email address.
