Situated on the south east coast of Zanzibar Island, it occupies an enviable position fronting the beach and sea. Property prices along the Zanzibar beach front have increased considerably and are continuing to increase. The property market has quickly recovered from the worldwide effects of Covid-19 and is remarkably buoyant.
The facilities of the hotel include a lounge with a bar, two restaurants, a spa and massage centre, two salt water swimming pools, one with a children’s area, pool bar, a small shop, safari office and other services.
In addition to the guest bedrooms, all of which have en-suite facilities, a fan and a pool and sea view, whilst most also have air conditioning, there is a villa with three bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, and a separate apartment.

Zanzibar is often described as “the ultimate Indian Ocean experience” and it enjoys a rich and colourful history, benign climate, a wealth of sea and beach sport and leisure activities and very much more besides. Although part of Tanzania, Zanzibar is an autonomous region.
The island has its own international airport, currently served by Ethiopian Airlines and Kenya Airways. However, construction of a new terminal is close to being completed and this will enable the airport to handle additional direct international flights once the new terminal is operating.
In addition, several large carriers fly into Dar es Salaam, which is only a short trip by air or sea from Zanzibar. These include British Airways, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airlines, KLM and Swiss.
There is also a range of scheduled flights between Zanzibar and Tanzania's main cities. Several sea ferry companies operate services between Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, the largest being Azam Marine.
The sale of the hotel will provide the buyer with an excellent investment opportunity without the ties of hotel management, whilst enjoying all that the hotel offers by way of permanent residence or a holiday home.
The price quoted of 2.250 million US dollars is for the outright sale of the hotel, but the owners will also consider selling a share of the owning company. In either case, the sale will be subject to the existing operating contract.
