Charlene and Kevin Mackin, veterans of property sales and vacation rentals on Palm Island, Don Pedro Island—and the surrounding coastal communities near Englewood, along Florida’s Gulf Coast—have joined Michael Saunders & Company in its Englewood office. 

The Mackins—whose firm, Mackin Realty, enjoys a lengthy reputation for friendly and efficient customer service in these communities—will continue to provide the same level of local expertise for their buyers and sellers.  As part of the move, the Mackins will continue to offer their customary array of rental services, backed by the resources of Michael Saunders & Company to more fully promote these vacation destinations and properties both nationally and internationally.

Originally from Danville, Illinois, the Mackins have lived in Florida for the past 22 years.  A sales professional throughout his entire career, Kevin has been a licensed real estate agent for 11 years.  During that time he has focused his expertise on waterfront properties in and around their adopted home of Palm Island.

“There’s as much to learn as there is to love about our island neighborhoods,” says Kevin.  “For this reason, we have focused our expertise for the past 11 years on being island specialists.  This is a very special community where Charlene and I have developed an immense circle of friends and acquaintances.  We feel very blessed to be here.”
