Matthew Goulden is the new Co-Sales Manager for Zephyr Real Estate’s Upper Market office in San Francisco. He is joining Matthew Borland, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Broker of the Upper Market and West Portal offices, to share in the management at Upper Market. Goulden joined Zephyr in 2010, after relocating here from London via Davis, CA, and has remained consistently in the upper echelons of top producers.

Last year, Goulden received the prestigious 5-Star Professional Award for the fourth year running. Five Star Professional was founded in 2003 in Eagan, MN, as a means of assisting consumers in selecting service professionals. They now cover 45 markets in the United States and Canada. The Five Star award recognizes those professionals who provide extraordinary service to their clients.

He recently was part of a training symposium for the Artisan Group, an affiliation of independent luxury brokerages in California of which Zephyr is an exclusive Bay Area member. He and several other brokerage representatives presented methods and programs for building a sustainable business and growing an energetic and effective team.

“Real estate has become my life,” remarked Goulden. “I just love it: The homes, the people, my friends and the City. And now, I am ready to take on this next adventure in my career.”

The Upper Market office is one of Zephyr’s high-volume locations with a cadre of dynamic agents. Goulden, who has earned the respect of his peers, is creating a variety of programs and opportunities to nurture the current team and attract others into the Zephyr circle.

“When considering the right person to fill this management position, our list was very short,” commented Matthew Borland. “It was Matthew from the onset, and we are delighted to see him take the helm.”
