SLIFER SMITH & FRAMPTON UNVEILS SUMMIT BLUE: A NEW DEVELOPMENT LOCATED IN THE HEART OF SILVERTHORNE RENAISSANCE

Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSF), the firm which has served Colorado’s mountain resort communities for nearly 60 years, has been awarded the listing for Summit Blue, a new development located in the heart of the up-and-coming Silverthorne Town Center. The development is adjacent to the Blue River and features a mix of 19 townhomes and 16 single-family homes with awe-inspiring views and an urban, mountain modern aesthetic.

"Creating an outstanding, low maintenance home option in the mountains was our primary design objective. The result of Summit Blue is the blend of high-country functionality delivered in a deliberately classic, urban exterior package,” says developer Douglas McDonald, Managing Principal at Bancroft Capital. "When surveying the local market, we saw a niche that wasn’t being served. Specifically, an opportunity for a walkable community that was centrally located with a highly functional modern aesthetic.”

The development will offer a choice of two options, a single-family home or townhome. The 2,331 square foot single-family homes sit adjacent to the river and along the internal green space. Three exterior design concepts are available, and each consists of three levels with an expansive deck facing the water or open space areas. The homes have the optionality to deliver as a four-bedroom home or three bedrooms with a separate flex area on the first floor. The residences will also feature a garage large enough for two SUVs with significant additional storage for sporting/winter equipment. The townhomes are 1,809 square feet and feature three bedrooms with an additional a penthouse level room taking full advantage of the expansive views from the heated rooftop deck. Mountain enthusiasts will enjoy the oversized 2-car tandem garage with additional storage for their outdoor gear. Construction is underway, with the first buildings being ready to move in Summer 2022. Pricing starts at $1.195 million, and contracts will be accepted beginning today, August 20, 2021.

“The location is incredible, on the river and bike path, not to mention within walking distance to the Lake Dillon Performing Arts Center, the Recreation Center, shopping and restaurants,” says SSF’s Joanna Hopkins, who is the lead listing broker. “Silverthorne is going through a real renaissance and Summit Blue is right in the heart of it.” The site offers the privacy and solitude of the river but is close to I-70 and only an hour from Denver, making it the perfect location for a second home or primary home for someone who works remotely but still needs easy access to Denver International Airport.

"Delivering a community is of great importance to our company. That is why Bancroft created communal opportunities to engage other residents with our fire pit overlooking the Blue River, our internal park space and rooftop decks and stoops in the townhouse product,” McDonald says. "We build homes with a high design aesthetic and functionality as if we were going to live in them.”
