SOUTH SARASOTA RESIDENCE SELLS FOR $3.48 MILLION

Contemporary Waterfront Home In Coral Cove Is The 14th Property Over $3 Million To Sell This Year
A waterfront residence fronting Little Sarasota Bay sold Friday, April 18 for $3.48 million. The contemporary home, located at 7422 Periwinkle Drive—in the Coral Cove neighborhood of South Sarasota—was co-listed by agents Lenore Treiman and Kim Ogilvie; and sold by Marcia Salkin. All three are with Michael Saunders & Company.
Designed by noted Sarasota architect Guy Peterson, the home includes expansive walls of glass to maximize its water and sunset views, soaring ceilings; and is a study in clean lines and angular details. It includes over 7,500 feet of air-conditioned living space, four bedrooms; and spectacular outdoor living areas that include a 40-foot pool with expansive deck, private boat dock and a 133-foot seawall.
According to the Mid-Florida MLS, the Coral Cove sale became the 14th since the beginning of 2014 involving residential properties that sold for over $3 million. Of these, Michael Saunders & Company listed ten, sold six; and had both sides of the transaction on five. By comparison, there were 11 transactions involving residential properties over $3 million during the same period of 2013.
